Hello, folks. I just wanted to thank you again for letting me join you in your vanquishing of ToC and Ulduar last week, it was a lot of fun and I managed to dig myself quite the DKP hole. I hope I distinguished myself as an intelligent and adaptable dps asset for your raid and would appreciate hearing anything that anyone has to offer in the realm of critique or criticism as I'm still getting the hang of the mage ways. (I don't quite have 4 days /played @ 80 yet, so I am still a bit of a nub.)

Thank you for stopping in and saying HI. Its always good to see interested people around here who follow up.
We are currently evaluating or current raid needs and what it will take us to succeed so I cannot comment at this time as far as your application goes.
But I do highly suggest that you continue to sign up for the posted raids here on the website.
In the meantime, anything that you think can help you shine amongst others is always an extra added bonus.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me in game or via private/public post here and I will do my best to answer them.

I tried to sign up for TotC-25 on Saturday, but it tells me "no eligible characters for this event." I've created a character, installed the mod, uploaded the profile, but it still says that I have no eligible characters.

We do not have a TOC25 on Saturday

So I'm still trying to get a feel for the guild, the people, etc. Poking around on the roster, I see a lot of ranks, but haven't found a clear definition of what the ranks mean. Who are the officers? Is the "Legend" rank an officer rank, or the first non-officer rank?

*so confused* Does it really matter in the long run? Okay, maybe not hugely. Maybe I'm just using this as an excuse to come up with for something to post on these forums so it doesn't appear that I've abandoned all interest. >.>

Our ranking system is meant to be confuseing. Basicaly there are three ranks for officer, current raider, and everyone else. The names are modeled after roman military ranks.

Yeah, the web site ranks are almost entirely different than the ones used in game, as each serves a different purpose. The in game ranks are primarily based around providing access to the guild bank and officer chat, whereas the web site ranks tend to be more associated with length of time in the guild.
